If you stand on top of Mary’s Peak—at 4,097 feet the tallest point in the Central Oregon Coast Range—you can clearly see a large, red, colonial-style house which sits on top of a hill outside Corvallis.
It’s 7:00 a.m. and Ben Reinhardt hears someone yelling and pounding on the front door of his house on Dove Street in Shreveport’s Allendale/Lakeside neighborhood.
A 25-minute documentary film about the roots of the community will be shown in our branches beginning in January.

Nice teaser! Ken Burns couldn't have done better. The best line is the very last one. Can't wait to see the full documentary - and then see material developed on the other 30 years!

Looking back at our history always brings back such great memories. I almost didn't recognize all of those young kids in the "teaser". Thank you Lord for all that You've given us.

I am excited to see this. The trailer was a cliff hanger...what's to come? Thank you for putting our history in a format we can easily share and enjoy for years to come. God bless you and God sure is blessing the People of Praise. Glory to God in the highest.

I wait with eager anticipation for this visual undertaking of our history. Many brothers and sisters in People of Praise have given the majority of their life to this Movement" of the Holy Spirit. I was 27 years old in 1974 (38 years ago), married with no children. Then Dianne and I decided to move into a Christian household with 13 others. Like so many, the journey was just beginning.... May your work on our historical film, be blessed and inspired!
