Sorrow and Salvation: A Playlist for Lent

Music and remembering are intimately tied together. Just as snatch of a song overheard at a grocery store can take you back to childhood, we hope this new Lenten playlist will stir up your memories of the one who gave his lifeblood for us all.

"Let Us Build Your Kingdom"

As a Pentecost send-off, we think you’ll enjoy this 2008 recording of "Let Us Build Your Kingdom" written and played by Andy Grams and sung by Jim Rolland, with Chuck Fossen and Hugh Springer, Jr. also on guitar (all Servant Branch). As the song says,

You send us out to be your sons and daughters,
You send us out as your new creation,
For you have given us your own beloved Son,
And with this love we can change the world.

The music was a great inspiration, almost like being there.
Keep it coming, Elizabeth. It's a real morale booster.
Quality of the recording was excellent also.
