Several branches are launching initiatives aimed at sharing the Holy Spirit and the blessings of community life with their friends, neighbors and coworkers.

 

Tom Zusi, 15, a ninth-grader at Trinity School at Greenlawn, finished second in a regional ballet competition in Indianapolis in early March, beating dancers from across the country. His performance of “Franz’s Variation” from Coppelia earned him a spot in a national ballet competition in New York City in April.

 

Fifteen adult volunteers traveled from northern Virginia to the Indianapolis South Side last week for a home renovation blitz. “They put in over 400 hours of work over three days,” said Paul Hommes, who drove up from Evansville to manage the projects.

 

Around 100 Servant Branch members continued a long tradition this December by buying Christmas presents and delivering them to children of prisoners.
